Well it looks as though the Google Adsense policy team have finally gotten tough with their wording regarding the issue of placing images next to Adsense ad units.

This looks like a very slick module for Wordpress, which lets you display easily custom image enhanced Adsense ads throughout your Wordpress site.

It looks as though Google is doing further testing of using images as part of their Adsense ads branding.

At the recent Pubcon, Jennifer Slegg (Jenstar) and Jeremy Schomaker (Shoemoney) gave a informative session on Contextual Advertising, discussing both Google Adsense, and Yahoo's program YPN, which has been summarized here:
