MSN adCenter PPC Experiment Update 2
A few days ago I started my MSN adCenter PPC experiment, in which I'm testing out buying traffic to send to a CPA offer - which is also a new thing for me.
In my last update, I had my first lead, from only 3 clicks! It's been a slow but encouraging start to my testing of the PPC to CPA game.
Its now a couple days later, and a couple of the keywords that I've added are getting a few thousand impressions, which has resulted in 4 more clicks, bringing the grand total to 7! Not exactly bigtime, but I'm pleased to announce my second lead has been completed.
To summarize, my 7 clicks so far have cost me $2.85, and my total earnings are over $45. Still a very respectable ROI, even if it is still far too soon to be judging the success of my experiment.
I'm now looking into finding an affiliate tracking script that I can use to track which keywords are converting and which are not. This is vital if I want to maintain a high ROI once my number of ads, campaigns, and associated keywords have grown tremendously, as they will in time.
In the meantime, I plan to setup an additional PPC order, which will target a number of related groups of phrases, similar in nature to the ones which have been converting well so far. I hope to essentially replicate the current successful groups of keywords.
I am also planning on testing in this order whether a smaller group of keywords which have a higher ad position and CTR will effect my bid CPC, and overall spend.
I'll post my results soon.
